The time approaches when Alto will have to say his final good-bye to Ragi. The elderly beastfolk man uses what little life he has remaining challenging Setsuna to a fight, hoping to show Alto the strength of their race and leave him with a memory of their unique combat style. Amidst the changing seasons, the young boy comes to know grief and loss as he grows into an adult.
