BD Cosmos does not offer a full refund policy on our products but does offer an exchange policy on certain products that are still sealed or not yet shipped. When placing an order on our website, and we've accepted your payment, we are unable to cancel/refund it at that time. For individual card sales or used games, all sales are final at all times. All comic book or graphic novel pre-orders are final sale only with no exchanges or cancelations possible as we place our orders based on your order with us.
When requesting a product exchange and there is nothing instock/re-orderable to replace it with, a gift card of the value paid for said product will be offered.
If there's a mistake in your order or if the product is defective, we will make the appropriate corrections or refund the balance or contact the manufacturer for a replacement where possible. If there's a product discreprancy in pricing, stock levels or supply shortages, and your order was accepted, we will reach out to you on potential solutions. This policy is applied to both pre-orders, events and in-stock items.
CLARIFICATION ON GAMING PRE-ORDERS (Card Games/RPGs/Miniatures):
Once you've placed a pre-order with BD Cosmos, you've agreed to pay the price listed on our website at the time of placement. It is no longer possible to cancel it/request for a refund, even if the pre-order has not been shipped at the time of request.
All pre-orders are final sale only.
BD Cosmos does not offer a price guarantee, nor a price matching policy.
BD Cosmos does offer an exchange program on selected items: we can swap your pre-order with other instock items of the same value if you'd like to have your order fulfilled sooner rather than later.
Condition Guide for Merchandise (Instock or Pre-orders):
BD Cosmos does not guarantee gem mint condition on pre-ordered products.
While we do go out of out of our way to ship products in the best possible condition for comics, graphic novels, mangas, miniatures and card games, we can not guarantee the following:
Books: inproper dusk jackets, tears in seals, small tears on top or bottom spines from the printers (mangas and TPB mostly);
Comic Books: colour bleed on white covers, spine ticks, white edges;
Gaming Cards and Miniatures: tears on plastic seals, dents/dings/scratches/holes in outer case packs from shipping, box dings that do not impact the cards or miniatures inside the products. Request for additional protection on outer case packs will be refused.;
How Long does BD Cosmos hold my order:
BD Cosmos commits to holding customers' items for a maximum of three (3) months after their notification email is sent. Customers will always receive a "3 Month Warning" email to indicate their pickup deadline is approaching. After the deadline is passed, customers forfeit their claim to the items and BD Cosmos reserves the right to place the abandoned items back into inventory. This policy is applied to minimize unnecessary occupation of the store's limited space. This applies to our Local Pick Up and any form of "Hold Box" for Comics, Graphic Novels/Mangas or other items we may add to the future.
Minimum Purchase Policy:
Due to associated transactional fees, all orders placed either online or in store require a $5.00 minimum (with associated taxes included) on card singles or small items.
All orders placed online below this threshold will be automatically cancelled.
For pre-orders using rewards points that go below this threshold, those orders will be accepted.
If you'd like to purchase anything priced below $5.00, an in store purchase using cash is the only available option.
Special Shipping Policies from BDCosmos.com
Local Pick up and Other Pending Orders to be Shipped:
Customers have a maximum of 90 days to pick up any order placed online.
Online orders that have hold boxes associated will receive up to 3 invocies to pay to ship them out.
After non-payment or no pick up after that 90 day or 3 invoices sent with no payment completed, your products will be returned to stock and your orders cancelled without refund.
Graphic Novel Holds :
Hold My Graphic Novels Until I Reach Free Shipping (HMGN) is a hold option BD Cosmos offers to customers wanting to place and combine one or multiple graphic novel orders into one free shipment.
As of December 26 2024, the minimum amount for free shipping is a combined total of $250* between your qualifying orders. Once that amount is reached, unless asked otherwise, BD Cosmos will ship the available graphic novels within your qualifying orders.
Please note that the calculations to get to the minimum are the same as before: customers must reach the minimum after all applied discounts (automatic or manually applied), before taxes to be eligible for free shipping.
*Orders placed before December 26 2024 reaching the prior minimum of $200 will be honoured as such, regardless of the release dates of the graphic novels in those specific orders.
This option is only available for orders of graphic novels. If a customer has different types of items in their order (comic books, RPG books, cards, paints, etc), this option will not be available at checkout, so please make sure not to mix and match items to see the shipping option at checkout!
This delivery option is available for in-stock items, pre-order items, pre- and post-FOC.
Customers are expected to reach the $250 minimum threshold for free shipping within three months (3) of their first HMGN order. Customers may place any number of orders for any number of graphic novels to do so. Customers may place orders for in-stock, backorder, and pre-order graphic novels to qualify.
The three (3) month deadline starts on the day BD Cosmos send their notification message, indicating which graphic novels have been prepared and placed in the customer's hold.
For example, an order for three omnibus, placed on January 8th 2025, for one in-stock graphic novel released on 10/16/2024, and two pre-orders releasing on 02/12/2025 and 04/02/2025, falls within acceptable parameters. The in-stock graphic novel from 10/16/2024 will be prepared on January 8th 2025 and the notification message sent on the same day. From January 8th, the last omnibus' release date, on April 2nd 2025, is three (3) months away, and so qualifies.
BD Cosmos understands that publishers push back release dates, and customers are not penalized for these publisher delays.
Customers may receive "3 Month Warning" messages to help them remember the time limit on these orders. If, after that time limit, the customer has not place an order to reach the threshold, BD Cosmos will send them a shipping invoice to be paid before the graphic novel is sent.
This shipping invoice must be completed within seven (7) days of reception.
Customers may always request specific combinations of graphic novels in their shipment. Please email us with your requests at info@bdcosmos.com. BD Cosmos is committed to fulfilling requests that fit within the guidelines of this offer.
Customers should note that requests to ship their multiple graphic novels in waves must meet the $250 threshold each wave of shipment. BD Cosmos will not ship any grouping of graphic novels that does not reach the minimum requirement for free. If customers would like to ship graphic novels that do not meet the requirement, BD Cosmos will gladly send a shipping invoice to be completed to do so.
